WHERE TO BUY:

When Katherine 'Kitty' Katt gets out of jury duty early for the day, she has no idea that heading home early might just have saved her life, except for the man-turned-crazy-alien-creature that shoots up the court house with lethal feathers (that she kills by the way), she might have been the death in a mastermind plot for alien parasites to take over the world. No really. And who does she end fighting alien parasites along side? Another set of aliens who look exactly like humans, except they have two hearts, super speed and a bunch of other super powers that humans don't have. Also, they are super hot, as in Calvin Klein ad hot, and one of them happens to take a liking to Kitty.

What is a girl to do but accept their invitation to join their super men-in-black-alien-fighting team. Only things are escalating into crazy evil-taking-of-the-world levels and Kitty finds her mom and her dad in mortal danger.

I loved Katherine 'Kitty' Katt's sarcastic attitude, her courage in the face of things going sideways and her ability to stand up to the shit the alien leaders try to pull. They want her on their team so she demands her family get rescued before the terrorist alien parasite bady guy kill her parents and everyone else she loves.

I was thinking this was going to be some horribly cheesy erotic alien story where I'd really want to poke my eyes out and flush them down the toilet, but Touched by an Alien was a fast paced, spy action science fiction story where the main characters fall in love. I actually enjoyed it. No poking eyes out, no flushing down the loo.

5 stars for this laugh out loud action sci-fi. Worth a read if you are into hot aliens and kick arse heroines.
